If you do a search for “make money sports blogging” you might get 500 results, with maybe three completely relevant websites or blogs - if you’re lucky. Take the word “sports” out and your results jump to over 600,000 with tons of relevant results. For that reason I created Sports Blog Earnings, a place where sports bloggers will discuss and find simple yet effective tips to improve and monetize their sports blog.

This blog will consist of extensive research, tons of discussion and my own trials and tribulations trying to monetize my blogs and grow a sports blog empire.

I am currently a Product Marketing Manager with Progressive Business Publications and head marketer of the Executive Reports division. I do a lot of internet marketing during my day job and hope to translate that into my sports blog promotion and monetization.

My Sport Background

Played baseball for 6 years as a little dude until I really got hooked on basketball and gave it up around 8th grade . Played basketball all through high school not really making an impact until senior year when I finally started. Moved on to King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA where I played Division III hoops for 4 years. Had a little bit of adversity as a frosh, but I worked my ass off and ended up starting my last 3 years, made two all-conference and all-academic teams and scored over 1000 points - overall had a pretty nice college basketball career that I am proud of and miss everyday.
